How to Become Effective at Prospecting
by Todd Falcone

Over the past few years I have a large number of people ask me, "Todd...how do I become better at prospecting?" Or, "Todd, what is it that you are doing that allows you to sponsor so many new people into your business every month, while I struggle to get in one or two people every now and then?"

The answer is relatively simple. First of all, I have called literally thousands of people over the past ten years. I've had plenty of practice. And today, I still call hundreds of people every week. However, that is not the complete answer. Here's a more detailed answer as to how to become more effective at prospecting.

How do we define an effective prospector?? Or, what are the character traits of someone who we would describe as an effective "recruiting machine"?

Becoming an effective prospecting machine begins with... read more

The "YOU" Factor
by Todd Falcone
If you've been in Network Marketing or direct sales for any length of time, or if you've had the opportunity of attending seminars from the likes of Jim Rohn, Zig Ziglar, Tom Hopkins, or others, you have more than likely heard the old adage, "You need to work harder on you than you do in your job or occupation." Better yet, "In order to earn more, you must become more."

Networking Outside the Box
by Todd Falcone
What box? I don't live in a box! What are you talking about?

I'm talking about that little square we live in every day. No.., not our home, not our room, nor our office. It's where we reside in our minds and how we go about living our lives. The box represents our actions and our thoughts that bring about the results we see in our lives...

An Exercise in Patience
by Todd Falcone
I've been thinking lately about some of the other elements that separate big producers in this business from those that become statistics or simply produce nothing.

Obviously it takes consistent daily actions to create production. You've all heard me say that the only thing that really matters is prospecting. If you are consistently talking to new people every day about your business, you will produce results.

However, it happens at different paces for different individuals. And...if it isn't happening as fast as you thought it would or would like it to...

Box. What box? I do not live in a box! What are you talking about?

I am talking about that little square we live in every day. No... not our home, not our room, nor our office. It is where we reside in our minds and how we go about living our lives. The box represents our actions and our thoughts that bring about different results in the things that we do.

You have probably heard the phrase, "Find out what everybody else is doing and do the exact opposite" if you want to be successful, right? That is certainly the beginning of living outside the box in one dimension.

Can You Pass the Leverage Test?
by Todd Falcone

We talk about leverage every day in network marketing. Its the basis of why we can earn the kind of money we do. Earning income on the efforts of lots of other people is certainly being leveraged.

But, can you actually pass the leverage test in all that you do in your business?

Throughout a normal day of being a network marketer, there are many things that you are probably doing, including sending and responding to emails, spending time for personal development, prospecting, running ads, conducting meetings, doing 3-way calls, training, and so on.

Everyone has 24 hours in a given day. Bill Gates, Oprah, Warren Buffet, Richard Branson, me, you...everyone has 24 hours each day. Human beings need to sleep. So...no one can work all 24 hours.

How to Brand Yourself an Expert in Network Marketing
by Todd Falcone
I want to start this off by asking you a few questions and I want you to seriously ponder them.

What is your objective as a network marketer?
Why did you get into network marketing in the first place?
Have things changed regarding what you want to do since you joined?

I ask those questions for good reason. From where I stand, I get a pretty good look at the profession at large. I'm on the road multiple weekends a month speaking all over the place for various network marketing companies, I spend my weeknights doing conference calls for different groups and spend my weekdays talking with the leading independent reps and company owners. That's my business...read more
