Being in touch with both the feminine and masculine parts of yourself creates balance in your life and brings abundance to your mind, body, and soul.
This is easier said than done.
Before the women's rights movement, we lived in a man's world. Women rarely strived to be part of the business community. As things evolved in the sixties and seventies we were all (including men) searching for more freedom. In the eighties and nineties more women started wanting a career in addition to or instead of getting married, having children, and taking care of the home (being a domestic engineer/goddess).
Today, women have made a huge mark in the business world. Incredible feats are being achieved and recognized. The question is, at what price?
Today many women are experiencing illness and stress-related conditions, even more so than men. Is proving ourselves equal to or better than men worth dying for?
The discrepancy in life expectancy between men and women is shrinking as men's life expectancy gets closer to women's. More men are becoming "domestic engineers" and liking it. Is this a role reversal? I don't feel it is. Women and men have become more in touch with the other side of themselves. You might say this is good, but is going from one extreme (a "man's world") to another (a "women's world") an improvement?
As I said, I believe we all need to be in touch with both our feminine and masculine sides and bring that balance from within ourselves into the world.
It has been said that 2012 will bring the end of the world. I believe it will not be the end of the world, but rather the end of extremes and the beginning of a new balance.
How can we make this shift? If we are aware of the reason for our goals, dreams, and work, then we can make a conscious effort to be in balance instead of trying to outdo the other. Winning is not about crushing and beating out someone else, it's about being and creating the winning results so that ultimately everyone wins.
This is why network marketing is experiencing such great success. Women and men are creating huge residual incomes for themselves and others, allowing themselves the ability to give of themselves and help others become successful. In my sixteen years of experience in this business, I have seen women and men become more in tune with both their feminine and masculine sides, making them grow into incredible leaders.
Go out and take charge of you. Be the inspiration you are looking for. There is no one more qualified than you to help you become the person you want to be. Believe in you, be yourself, and you will win!
