CERTIFICATION
Networking University offers 3 levels of certification for those networkers choosing to reach for the highest levels of professional development. Our desire is to provide our students with the knowledge and tools needed to enjoy fulfilling careers as professional networkers. The three certifications and their credit requirements follow.
CERTIFIED NETWORKING SPECIALIST (CNS) 45 Credits
CERTIFIED NETWORKING PROFESSIONAL (CNP) 90 Credits
CERTIFIED NETWORKING MENTOR (CNM) 180 Credits
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Complete all course requirements in effect for the certificate at the time of initial enrollment. If returning to Networking University after not being enrolled for 12 consecutive months or more, students are subject to the requirements in effect for the certificate at the time of re-enrollment.
- Students may submit previously attended training programs for consideration for credit toward their certification. The training must have occurred within 5 years of your enrollment in the University. The University Credit Evaluation Committee shall evaluate the submitted course documentation and shall determine the number of credits (if any) to be awarded. There will be an administrative charge of $10 per credit awarded. Transferred credits may account for no more than 75% of the requirement for any single certification. For example, if the amount of transferable credit exceeds the limit of the Specialist Certification (34 credits), then the excess credit may be applied toward the next level of certification.
- Credits are divided between departments with no more than 60% attributed to any one department and no less than 20% in any one department. The three departments are Personal Development, Professional Development and Business Development.
- The one-hour "webinar" classes count as one credit. Students are limited to a maximum of 60% of total credits from "webinars".
- Upon completion of any one-day or longer course (and completion of any follow-on activity or work), the faculty for that course shall present students with a "Certificate of Completion" certifying that students have completed the course to the faculty member's satisfaction.
- The University shall maintain an administrative record of each student's credits. Certifications shall be reported in Networking Times, which will publish an ongoing list of certified networkers in each issue of the magazine. Where possible and with your permission, Networking University shall present your Certified Networking Certificate to you on stage at an annual or regional meeting of your company.
- Students and certified networkers shall, at all times, conduct themselves in accordance with the University Code of Ethics.
- Annual continuing education is required to maintain certification. CNS - 10 credits, CNP - 20 credits, CNM - 30 credits.
- Faculty members may earn credits for teaching. They may earn the same number of credits as they award to one of their students taking their course. For example, if the student can earn 1 credit then the faculty member is awarded 1 credit. If the faculty member teaches more than one course, then they may earn credits for each of the additional courses they teach.
- There is no time limit for the completion of the certification process. Students are encouraged to take training that is appropriate for their level of business building. We encourage students to establish a training budget that is affordable and fundable from their business.
- Fill out this Certification Tracking Form when you are ready to submit your credits for Certification review.
